MAMA + MAKER a monthly series where we spotlighting incredible moms who are raising more than just kids.
This month, we’re proud to introduce Chloe — a mother, wife, educator, and professional declutter coach who is raising more than just kids. She’s raising calm, clarity, and connection — with a side of humor and a whole lot of real life.
Before she was helping moms conquer clutter, Chloe was an elementary school teacher with a decade of experience and Montessori training. Teaching was where she first fell in love with supporting families — helping kids thrive and partnering with parents in ways that felt intentional and empowering. She didn’t know it at the time, but that same passion would eventually lead her to support moms more directly. After years of building thoughtful curriculum for kids, she now creates something just as powerful — systems that help moms clear the mental and physical clutter and feel a little more human in their homes.
Her journey into decluttering began with simple curiosity about how to make home life feel lighter. What started as a personal mission quickly turned into a full-on passion. She became certified in Dana K. White’s Decluttering at the Speed of Life method and developed her own style — one that helps moms move through the chaos of everyday life efficiently, practically, and without a drop of shame. She knows organizing isn’t always fun, but she also knows the payoff is worth it. And she somehow makes tackling that junk drawer feel a little less painful — maybe even fun. Chloe believes in being okay with the journey — learning and figuring things out as you go — and she encourages her clients to embrace that mindset too. She’ll be the first to tell you she’s still figuring it out herself. A mom who doesn’t always know what’s next, sometimes wonders what day it is, and fully embraces the beautiful mess of it all. That honesty is what makes her work so refreshing. She’s not preaching from a perfectly labeled pantry — she’s in the thick of it, walking the same path as the rest of us. When she’s not coaching or managing life with two kids, Chloe is usually laughing at her own dishes pile or daydreaming about summer adventures — like spending her 40th birthday in Hawaii later this year. She’s also married to a traveling musician, which means she’s holding down the fort solo all summer — keeping the kids fed, the clutter (mostly) managed, and laughing through the chaos.
If you’re not local to Santa Barbara, Chloe also offers virtual declutter sessions — making her support accessible no matter where you live. As a mom of three boys, I can say from experience: having her help you declutter your space is a total game-changer.
We’re so honored to feature her this month.
